Sacraments
-
Anointing of the Sick
- Please make request for this sacrament by speaking with Fr. Eric or calling the parish office. When in Sault Area Hospital please make your request known upon registering or through the Pastoral Care Department.
-
Baptism
- Holy Baptism holds the first place among the sacraments, because it is the door of the spiritual life; for by it we are made members of Christ and incorporated with the Church.
-
Confirmation
- Confirmation is a Sacrament through which we receive the Holy Spirit to make us strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ.
-
Eucharist
- I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.
-
Holy Orders
- We pray for that the lives of many will be open to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to accepting the call to serve in the priesthood, diaconate, religious life and the many ministries of service in our church.
-
Marriage
- If you are hoping to celebrate your Marriage Sacrament at Blessed Sacrament Parish, please contact Fr. Eric as soon as you become engaged.
-
Reconciliation
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation has three elements: conversion, confession and celebration. In it we find God's unconditional forgiveness, and as a result we are called to forgive others.
